Legendary R&B musician Jon B is back, marking his triumphant return with his highly anticipated eighth studio album, Waiting on You, released in celebration of the 30th anniversary of his classic debut album Bonafide. With a career spanning three decades, Jon B has delivered timeless hits such as "They Don’t Know," "Are You Still Down" featuring Tupac Shakur, and "Someone to Love" featuring Babyface, cementing his status as one of R&B’s most influential voices. Known for his smooth vocals, timeless hits, and undeniable influence on contemporary R&B, Jon B continues to solidify his legacy with a collection of soul-stirring tracks that showcase his growth as an artist. The album, available now worldwide, features productions by Jon B, Brady Watt, Loren Lomboy, Donte Jackson, and Tank.

Jon B’s return is further amplified by his latest singles, “Natural Drug,” featuring supermodel and actress Cynthia Bailey in the music video, and “Waiting on You,” a collaboration with Grammy-winning R&B star Tank.
Waiting on You features collaborations with multi-platinum rapper Rick Ross on “Hills to the Hood,” and acclaimed singer-songwriters Donell Jones on “Understand” and Alex Isley on “Show Me.” The album’s introspective yet passionate soundscape illustrates Jon B’s evolution and artistry within the R&B genre while remaining true to the musical roots that have cemented him as an icon.

“People often expect new music to sound like the old material but I’ve been living life, gathering inspiration from every high, low, and in-between moment. That’s where the creativity comes from,” Jon B explains. “It’s about creating music that feels authentic and has depth. It takes time to build something meaningful, and I’ve approached this project with a lot more intention, pouring every bit of my soul into it.”

Jon B collaborated with a talented roster of songwriters and producers throughout Waiting on You, including Chris Smith, Eric Allen, Loren Lomboy, Donte Jackson, Aaron Sokell, Tim Carter, Kerry Mondy, and Durrell Tank Babbs.
